The Dog Adoption and Foster Coordinator oversees care and later adoption for all dogs in HBOs care. They also keep steady communication between all fostered dogs as well as potential adopters. Qualities and duties of the HBO Dog Adoption & Foster Coordinator include: 

 

• Know appropriate and related base regulations

• Work with the Shelter Manager to ensure animal health/care

• Responsible for communicating with foster care providers

• Providing pictures from foster animals to the media manager

• Review and response to adoption applications and communicate with potential adopters

• Provide frequent updates about foster care animals, foster care providers, potential
  adopters, and upcoming adoptions to the shelter manager

• Maintains data on fostered animals

• Communicate openly with other Board members to brainstorm ideas to keep up with animals medications, databases, and welfare.

• Good communication skills (both phone and interpersonal)

• Proficient in varying computer skills such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google E-mail, Facebook, Instagram.

• Excellent organization

• Comfortable with dogs of varying sizes and ages.
