The Fundraising Chairman is the liaison between marketing and HBO. They brainstorm, create, and manage fundraisers for the organization.  Qualities and duties of the HBO Fundraising Chairman include: 


  • Know appropriate and related base regulations

  • Work with Treasurer to create a budget for fundraisers and events

  • File all appropriate paperwork with 51st FSS for fundraising events.

  • Maintains data about past and future fundraisers

  • Communicate openly with other Board members to brainstorm fundraising ideas and learn from past events

  • Good communication skills (both phone and written)

  • Proficient in varying computer skills such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google E-mail, Facebook, Instagram.

  • Excellent organization
