The Manager is the head and face of Homeward Bound Osan. They lead the HBO team in decision making, facilitate adoptions, and handle animal intakes. Qualities and duties of the HBO Manager include:

• Know the constitution and by-laws of the organization

• Preside over all meetings

• Know appropriate and related base regulations

• Determine, with the aid of other officers and volunteers, the objectives, meetings, and action plan of the organization

• Appoint, instruct, and when possible, serve as ex-officio member of committees

• Communicate openly with other Executive Board members to help operations run as smoothly as possible

• Animal handling or veterinary experience preferred

• Good communication skills (both phone and interpersonal)

• Good leadership skills

• Good public speaking skills

• Proficient in varying computer skills such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google E-mail, Facebook, Instagram.

• Excellent organization
